Pameran 'RASA' Antarabangsa UKM 2008.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia will be organizing its annual 'RASA' International Exhibition this May in order to flaunt the diversity of motive and media by local and international artists. It is to encourage young art enthusiasts to continue to strive active and show their works to the community. This exhibition is a suitable place for artists to gather and exchange thoughts and as a field of view on development of visual arts.

Among the art pieces that will be on display includes Paintings, Photographs, Batik Arts, Sculptures and many more handcrafted by painters and arts enthusiasts all over the world. The theme for our exhibition this year is "Nature".


Everyone is invited to present to this exhibition to witness products of famous artists like Eiichi Matuhashi from Japan, Wilhelm Schramm from Austria, Dorothea Fleiss from Germany, Suzlee Ibrahim, Azimin Mohd Tazilan and Saiful Nang from Malaysia.

Dah hampir sebulan berada di perantauan. Sejak 7hb April lepas pergi bercuti bersama team CandidSyndrome ke Bali selama 1 minggu. Balik dari Bali, terbang semula ke Paris atas urusan perniagaan. Alhamdulillah, ada yang dirancang menjadi dan ada juga yg tak dirancang pun menjadi juga dan semestinya ada yang dirancang tidak menjadi. Semua tu lumrah. Masih lagi tgh recover dari jetlag. Part paling tak best sekali kalau travel merentasi zone masa yg berlainan. Tapi apapun, semuanya under control. Orang tanya, pergi Paris buat apa? Saya jawap...KERJA! dan orang pun cakap..."Untung kan kerja macam u ni, jalaaannnn jer...". Saya senyum lah dan saya jawab semula..."YESSS...MEMANG BEST!"

Lagi best, lepas sehari saya sampai di Paris, my lovely wife Intan menyusul pulak. Bangun2 pagi bukak pintu hotel ada muka dia "YEHAAAAA". Lagi best....petang hari yang my wife sampai tu...My sister & Mother in Law pulak sampai dari UK. Saya attend beberapa meeting dengan organiser (apa yg dia organise? takpe...nanti bagitau lain kali) dan juga meeting dengan Caroussel Du Louvre dan kemudian....yang lain2 tu sambil2 jalan2 dgn my wife and her family. Jadilah trip KERJA ini sebagai sebahagian percutian juga. Pasal my wife ada sama. Kalau last year saya ada pernah tulis saya akan keluar travel at least 1 tahun sekali...tahun ni nak buat revision sikit. Setiap tahun sekitar bulan 4 atau 5 mesti saya akan keluar. Takde apa yg special dgn bulan 4 atau 5 kecuali bulan2 ni sejak 4 tahun lepas memang bulan yg low season. Dan mmg perjalanan perlu dirancang 6 bulan lebih awal supaya kita boleh space-up time dan tak ambil booking pada tarikh2 yg terlibat. Ok, ini list tempat2 yg saya pergi sekitar bulan 4-5 setiap tahun dari tahun 2004. Nak trackback sikit...tak perlu banyak duit utk travel...mulakan dgn yg dekat dulu.

Sometime I feel like I'm a flying Albatros

Guys, I'll be leaving to Paris tomorrow. Wish me a safe journey. I will be there for 10 days duration. Mostly for attending meetings with some local people on certain project and business development. It would be a great time for me to be in Paris again. I was there in July 2005 for a wedding at Palace de La Concorde. The Automobile Club (FIA). I can't believe I have to go there again for some other purpose. THe last time I was there, I only covered the Eiffel Tower only. Since I stayed there for 2 days, I have no time to go around.

My wife will be coming a day after me (she need to do few things, dah lah baru balik dari Bali seminggu dah cuti). As for the time being, I can't reveal what's the project that require me to go there. InsyaAllah, soon or later, a lot of people will notice that. Nak cerita2 takut nanti tak jadi kan malu lah saya dan keluarga mereka. Mukhriz will be leaving very soon (in fact, sooner than me) to Abu Dhabi for a photography assignment. I feel so glad with that. The time I built my team from the ground, they were technically zero and with some motivation & challenge, CS managed to develop a great human quality inside everyone of them (CSian). I can see myself when I see some of them. They are passionate, energetic, challenging, high-discipline and most important of all...loyal (aka mengenang budi). Everyone in CS has been given equal opportunity to involve in any assignment derived from the brand of CS for both local & international. That's a part of career pathway for CS photographers.

To date, I still receive minimum 20 resumes per week applying the position as CandidSyndrome Photographer. Some of them volunteer to shoot for CS for FOC. But that's not what we are looking for. CS is very rewarding brand to it supporters (CSian). Only the best will be in. I can say, 99% of those who sent their resume didnt meet our benchmark because of few things. I would say...PASSION. For CS, Passion is not something that u can say, but it's something that u have to prove.

We're back now. Sorry for those customer yang ada call semasa kami di Bali dan semua inquiry2 anda akan kami jawab secepat mungkin. It was a fantastic holiday. These photos are among thousand photographs I took while in Bali. InsyaAllah, more to come nanti. InsyaAllah, after this I'll update more photo of Paris city. I'll be off to Paris this Wednesday and will arrive there by 6am (Paris time) on Thursday. THere'll be more and more amazing photographs from all of us.

PANGGILAN ABU DHABI

Just arrived from Bali but CS is sending Mukhriz Latif (requested by client) to Abu Dhabi to shoot a Pre-Wedding Portraiture session for a couple that I'll be covering on my special 080808. Thanks a lot to Mas & Fiance for the willingness to fly another talented CSian for a photography assignment. Mukhriz will be leaving a day before I depart to Paris. It sounds like Abu Dhabi is very near that's why Mukhriz will make his way back in the very next day after he complete the shooting session. 8 hours from Malaysia just like a driving distance from KL to Kota Bharu
