PHOTOJOURNALISM - Dzul & Zatur

First and foremost, thanks to Ian Davies @ Iskandar Abdullah for trusting my eyes to documentize his nephew's wedding. The wedding of the groom Dzul and the bride Zatur was a good assignment i ever had so far.
The biggest challenge was...to turn the looks of an ugly designed MPAJ Multipurpose Hall into the feel of Five Star Hotel's Ballroom. 2 hours before everything started, i was recceing the place all over and try to find a good angle so I don't expose the ugly part of the hall. At last...I guess I made it.
Once again meet-up with YTM Tengku Dato' Seri Salehuddin Ibni Almahrhum Sultan Badlishah Tengku Temenggung Kedah after the wedding of Shahriman Zahid and Majmin Dato' Sunar. The ceremony were perfected by the attendance of Tan Sri Dato' Hj. Muhyiddin bin Hj. Mohd Yassin, which is the uncle of the groom (Pak Itam) and The Excellency Mohamed Sampil, Embassador of The Republic of Guinea.
It is really a good assignment which i think i already covered a lot of emotions in this Best Day for the Bridegroom and family. And to other photographer friends who read this...this coverage involve NO FLASH LIGHTING!! Thanks God I did it

LET'S GET A BREAK - Kereta Kuda

Ok friend, let's get a break for wedding photograph. Since the wedding season is just over. And now, we take a break to some shots I made, still something not running away from Photography...but slidely outside Photojournalism.
The series of pictures here are the photos taken for Next Car Sdn Bhd for the Year 2002 Michael Schumacher's car. They borrowed this car from Italy to be in their showroom for a month. This photo is the final day the car is there before they put back in the box and post back to Italy. To those really interested to buy this car you can have it. They sell it cheap...only RM 8 Million. It's cheap but i prefer to have 4 seaters car...hmm.
Maybe I can afford to pay the price just I'm worry about paying the traffic summonses.

PHOTOJOURNALISM - HONEYMOON

Some of the viewer get interested and some of them already married to hire me as their wedding photojournalist. Then they asked me weither I can do some other thing for them. OK, now I show the viewers a set of so called Honeymoon picture of my Friend Martin Baxter with Dao a Local Thai. This simple coverage was taken in Phuket few months back just by using a simple camera. Imagine if I use the camera and lense that i use in all my wedding photos now...definately it's gonna be much better than this.
Besides wedding, I also ever been hired for Events, Product Launching, Family Days, Trip Photography, Sports Event and just to make it simple...I am Photojournalism Artist for Hire!

Happening at the glitter of Dewan Merak Kayangan, Felda. It was a fantastic function. Thanks to Shahriman and his wife Majmin and all Dato' Sunar's family for being so sporting.
This wedding will not be perfect without our guest of Honour His Majesty KDYMM Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, Sultan of Kedah and her Majesty Sultanah Kedah. Also attended the Sultan's Adinda YTM Tengku Dato' Seri Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah and a few cabinet ministers. It makes the wedding so wonderful...yet I somehow can't control my photojournalist ethic while I have to follow a strict procedure. Wish them Happy...Thanks!

PHOTOJOURNALISTIC - Romdzi & Suriani

Thanks for reading, again i present you the photojournalistic style in wedding photography. This time the function happen in Cheras in a multipurpose hall. Thanks for the groom and bride and also their happening family. Romdzi (the groom) somehow looks very fotogenic in the picture, also goes to the bride eventhough she was not so camera friendly, but at the end, they both really make it good.
Some more get excitement singing together with their relatives especially Romdzi's sisters and cousins. They are crazzzyy...

OK, another photojournalistic wedding photo. Thanks to the Bride Murni for putting a trust to me in capturing her greatest moment in lifetime. Thanks also to her cute pengapit for a pleasent lunch chat, it was great!
The most remarkable thing in this wedding was the old friends that really make the event havoc. I somehow forgot the tireness after seeing all of them, they are really ethically crazy. I wish i have done my best in capturing their sweetest memory in life.

PHOTOJOURNALISM- Fuad Hambali and Marsila Dato' Sulaiman

Photojournalism just sound the same as photography by a layman. But it has an apparent contrast in our final pieces. We never stop the bride and groom and ask them to do what the best to take instead we just let them do what they want to do. How do we get the nice shot and angle? that is purely the scope of work of a photojournalist. As we never stop a sportman sprinting 100 metres just to take photo, the same thing we applied to our brides and grooms. They laugh, they play, they walk, they cry and we capture it to the best. For the entire ceremony...our eyes always at the camera viewfinder and the finger is always ready to release the shutter. There are a few samples of happy couples i took. See...how happy they are and the happines is original.
For this wedding, thanks to the groom and bride and YB Sulaiman Taha, ADUN Labis and their family in making this event colourful and meaningfull.
Wedding only happen once in most of human being. So, please love the moment you have only a day in your lifetime. It is worth to spend something that last forever.
