Vacation Starts Tonight
|
|
Inilah masa yang sangat ditunggu2 setiap tahun. Percutian! dah 3 tahun percutian yang dirancang secara teknikalnya tak berbayar, insyaAllah masuk tahun ni pun, percutian ini juga mungkin berbayar selepas pulang dengan gamabr2 dari venice, tuscany, rome & cambridge bersama pembeli2 budiman yang dah mula membuat tempahan gambar (Kebanyakannya majalah2 dan juga 3 airlines). Kalau tak berbayar pun tak kisah, mmg setiap tahun saya bekerja bermatian 7 hari seminggu tak bercuti, masa bercuti...saya akan bercuti bersungguh2. Oleh kerana Photogrpahy itu hobby saya, jadi tadek lah isteri saya bising macam saya bekerja masa holiday.
Hari ni dah relief sikit. Semua payment dah bayar, paycheck dah sain, dan a few blank check (wait for the 2nd signatory) pun dah sain. Rancangan kerja 2 minggu dah diaturkan. InsyaAllah dengan team komited Ainiyah dgn Adi Nang boleh lah handle semua kerja dengan mantap. Sempat lah jumpa beberapa orang customer sebelum balik. Maaf kepada beberapa keluarga yang menjemput kami untuk makan malam, sehingga sekarang masih belum ada masa untuk diluangkan untuk dinner dengan anda. Bukannya sombong cuma kepadatan jadual.
Sebelum bercuti ni jugak, baru habis part saya untuk menyiapkan dan merekabentuk satu produk baru yang bakal dipromosikan besar2an sekembalinya saya dari Italy. Tapi gap pun cuma 1 minggu jer sebelum berlepas ke brunei untuk setengah bulan untuk kerja2 fotografi perkahwinan. InsyaAllah, tunggu sahaja produk bagaimana yang bakal dikeluarkan. Yang pasti...produk kali ni affordable dan applicable untuk SEMUA sekali (bukan hanya pengantin).
Wuaaahhhhhhh (sambil menyandar panjang dan meletupkan jari jari yg dah bekerja setahun). Dah tiba masanya untuk saya memulakan percutian yang hebat ini. Yang pastinya berbeza...tahun ini...saya bercuti dgn isteri saya. Kesian isteri saya, dia cuti weekend, dan saya tak cuti weekend. Jadi jarang2 dapat masa nak bersama2 dia. Sebab tu saya dah jadualkan beberapa percutian berselang 3 bulan dengan dia. Walaupun tak dapat weekend yang selalu dengan dia, tapi saya akan pastikan, 1 atau 2 minggu bercuti lebih bagus dan berkualiti dari sepanjang tahun punya weekend cuti.
Doakan lah saya pegi dan balik dengan selamat. Note kepada yang nak jumpa saya di Rome haritu, nanti SMS saya di +60133977715. InsyaAllah 19 hb dah ada di Rome. Kepada yang menjemput kami dinner di England, terima kasih banyak2, dan maaf juga kepada beberapa keluarga yang tak dapat saya dan wife penuhi jemputan mereka untuk "makan malam" di UK. Kerana kami hanya ada 2 malam sahaja di sana sebelum bertolak ke Venice pada pagi 13hb. InsyaAllah kami akan datang balik akan datang, lebih lama lagi. Terharu dgn semua jemputan makan malam yang di terima. Since kami akan berada di cambridge, kami hanya boleh pergi makan malam di cambridge sahaja. Terima kasih sekali lagiii!

Berita baik utk SFCS. Perancangan dalam hari BIASA (Weekdays) bertempat di KLiUC akan di adakan mini Seminar berkenaan "Bagaimana Anda mengenakan Harga Perkihdmatan Wedding Photography". TARIKH IALAH PADA 30 MAY 2007.
Seminar bermula dari 8pm-12am di Dewan Kuliah KLiUC. Pembentangan rangka "Costing" akan dibentangkan oleh saya (Saiful Nang) dan di buka kepada semua untuk sesi soal jawap.

8.45 -10.00 - Pembentangan Formula "Costing" untuk Wedding Photography

Sesi separuh formal ini bertujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada kebanyakan photogrpher wedding untuk membuat costing yang proper supaya harga kita tidak terlalu rendah hingga tidak dapat membuat keuntungan dan berkembang, juga tidak terlalu tinggi sehingga tiada siapa yang ambil.

BOOK SHOPPING & Another Wedding this week!

1.0 BOOK SHOPPING
I went to The Curve last thursday. Pretty bad weather. Heavy Rain and thunderstroms here and there. Luckly i managed to finish a portraiture shooting in the morning. We walked around and get some food in an American Restaurant in The Curve. Nothing much for a movie. I checked the movie schedule and most of the movies dah tengok. Then, I walked to the 2nd level to get my brand new haircut for this weekend weddings. Sedikit frust, all hair saloon closed at 8.30pm that day. Anyway, this little time i spent with my wife (since i worked in the morning), then i took her to MPH.
Again, since my annual vacation is just around the corner, then i started to worry for not having enough material to read on the plane as well as the waiting time in transit. I recce around and found about 10 books, then filtering process took another hour. End-up with buying only 5 books. Huhh...invested almost RM400 for all those books. Since Venice, Milan & Rome would be so much wonderful and exciting, to balance it...i bought a few BORING YET IMPORTANT books to be read (Wonderful Place + Boring Book = Neutral). More accurate, this book cam make me fall asleep much faster than a valium.
Now reading Tony & Maureen Wheeler book about their story in seting up "The Lonely Planet" most successful travel guide on this planet. Tough but happening. Something we have in common...we both driven by passion. In another 20 years, i probably would be like Tony.

I just can't get enuff with the greenlook of sawah padi in kuala selangor. So, I went there again for a wedding client. Just a simple conclusion, being a photographer is not just pressing the shutter and know how to handle the camera. Beyond that, the anticipation, study, research and a good PR skill to make the customer comfortable or in this case...to ask a makcik to borrow her bicycle.
